03.01.24Booked and paid for a king bed room and was assigned a twin bed room on a romantic getaway. Appalling as supposedly 5 star hotel, paying £400+ per night. A decent hotel would have made sure that the booked room was assigned. I would not trust this hotel to deliver on their booking.

03.01.24Beyond the wonderfully appointed room and location, the staff at this hotel is outstanding. Friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The woman who checked us in spent so much time giving us recommendations for food to try, where to go and what to see. She highlighted a map and even got my husband a glass of ice from the bar. Our holiday this year included 5 hotel stays and this hotel was our favorite!

31.12.23Well located, clean hotel. Front reception staff very helpful. Rooms were clean but rather small, I found it strange to not have a door to the bathroom so the other room occupant could see into the shower if located in certain parts of the room.

29.12.23The hotel and staff were superb. We had a very good experience we would recommend the hotel and would stay there again. There are a few minor things that could be improved. The door slamming was tiresome at times and should be corrected. The door closers need to be adjusted to a "soft close". The acoustic door seals and automatic doors sill seals are nice but the doors slam too hard and this does not befit the quality of the hotel experience. For a 5 star level hotel there should be more towels in the room but that is just our opinion. Finally as a suggestion for your north American guests, it would very nice to have a separate sheet that has a lower stitch count like 300 or 350 not 400 or 500 thread count so the sheets "breathe" . We know the sheet on the comforter is the European standard, but it can be quite hot after a few hours. These are just points and suggestions for a 5 star experience. We had a very good visit and the hotel was great . Again the staff was superb and very focused on guest satisfaction. We would recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone seeking a fine hotel experience in Salzburg.

28.12.23Unica nota positiva è la comodità della camera: l'hotel è nuovo e si vede. Il servizio è molto approssimativo e non orientato a soddisfare le esigenze del cliente; manca la figura del concierge.
La colazione non è al livello di 5 stelle; non c'è attenzione alle intolleranze alimentari. L'Excutive lounge è abbandonata a se stessa durante gran parte della giornata. Il cliente, in generale, non sente mai la presenza di qualcuno dell'hotel nel caso avesse bisogno. Altra nota dolente: poca accoglienza nei confronti di chi non parla tedesco o inglese: ci vuole tanto a dotarsi di un traduttore per capire cosa sta dicendo il cliente? La comunicazione è l'accoglienza dovrebbe essere un dovere dell'hotel.

We are therefore very sorry that our service from the staff, for which we otherwise only receive praise, did not meet your expectations. We will sit down with our team and train here accordingly. The fact is that the lounge should serve as a place for our guests to retreat. It can then happen that other guests do not take advantage of the offer and we then need the labor somewhere else. You would have been welcome to contact us at any time, as we can be found at the hotel 24/7. Especially at reception. It's a pity you couldn't have a good chat with the staff either. Our colleagues are very articulate. Unfortunately, problems can sometimes arise if the person opposite has a very strong accent. The optimal solution here is to act with calm and patience. We will continue to work on this so that you are completely satisfied next time and keep us in positive memory.
