It is situated right on the River Aare, and delights guests with its modern architecture and views of St Ursen Cathedral. In the mornings there’s breakfast and an à la carte menu at lunchtime and in the evening. You can also enjoy the international dishes prepared here on our terrace, where you will have wonderful views of “Palais Besenval” and the “Landhaus”.

The Penthouse Bar is located on the seventh floor of the H4 Hotel Solothurn, with glorious vies of the Jura Mountains, Solothurn’s very own Weissenstein mountain and the Old Town. Enjoy an aperitif, a refined cocktail or a late night drink here from Monday to Thursday, 17:00 to 00:00, and Friday to Saturday 17:00 to 01:00 during winter.

If you are planning an event in the baroque town of Solothurn, the H4 Hotel Solothurn offers three different events venues. Together with the “Landhaus” and the “Palais Besenval”, it forms the “seminar mile”, one of the top locations for conferences and celebrations in the Swiss Mittelland region.
The H4 Hotel Solothurn has three event rooms measuring between 65 and 100 square metres, which can be combined to create a larger space. The H4 Hotel Solothurn also enjoys partnerships with the “Palais Besenval” and the “Landhaus”. These two buildings are also located right on the Aare, but on the opposite bank.
