At 26 hectares, the Speicherstadt is the biggest collection of warehouses in the world. The complex, which was built around the turn of the century has canals, bridges and brick buildings and is today a UNESCO world heritage site. It takes about 35 minutes to get to the Speicherstadt from the H4 Hotel Hamburg Bergedorf on the S Bahn or bus.

The 47 hectare site on the grounds of the former ramparts houses a number of small lakes, various themed gardens and leisure areas such as a roller skate track and trampolines.
