Soft opening today: H-Hotels Group now operates eleven of the budget-oriented design hotels of the H2 brand
Erfurt/Bad Arolsen, April 16, 2025 – Today the budget-oriented design hotel H2 Hotel Erfurt is opening in a prime downtown location. Monique Hildebrand is at the helm. “With us, guests experience on-point service in a feel-good atmosphere. We make sure that they go home inspired and satisfied,” says the 36-year-old, formulating her goal for her team and herself. With today's soft opening, the H-Hotels Group operates eleven H2-branded properties.
When it comes to the hotel business, Monique Hildebrand is a true professional. With positions as a hotel manager at the Business Hotel Tanne Ilmenau and the Ferienhotel Rennsteigblick, she knows she can take responsibility and successfully manage a hotel. Frank Oettinger, Senior Vice President Operations and Openings at H-Hotels Group, is also convinced: “We appreciate Monique Hildebrand's determination. And we also value her ideas for our Erfurt location.” When opening a new location, organizational talent and openness are needed from day one to ensure that the entire team pulls together for the guests. ‘We see this power in Monique Hildebrand; she is the ideal person for the job,’ says Frank Oettinger.
The manager learned the hotel business from the ground up. Through positions as a reception and restaurant manager, the native Berliner rose to the position of hotel director. “I am a hands-on person through and through. My team and I have been creating our own success story since the pre-opening phase,” says the manager of 18 employees and a hotel with 213 double and four-bed rooms. Monique Hildebrand is able to continue her growth trajectory thanks to professional development opportunities, including personal development seminars at the H-Hotels Group's own academy. “With the latest hotel in Erfurt and our self-service restaurant, we want to be a special urban meeting place for all guests and residents of the state capital,” says Monique Hildebrand. Her determination leaves no doubt about that.
