30 years of the H+ Hotel Limes Thermen Aalen: 208,050 boiled eggs and 14,230 meatballs for breakfast

The figures are impressive: 1,500,150 adult guests and 60,225 children have stayed at the H+ Hotel Limes Thermen Aalen over the past 30 years. For breakfast, they have eaten around 1,084,050 liters of scrambled eggs, 208,050 boiled eggs, 14,230 meatballs and 31,755 kilograms of sausage. "The figures underline that our guests appreciate our hotel. Without your fantastic commitment, dedication, charm and smiles, this would not be the case. You are the heart and soul of this hotel," said Maximilian Müller-Huck, Area Manager South- West of the H-Hotels Group, to which the H+ Hotel Limes Thermen Aalen belongs, during the hotel's 30th anniversary celebrations. Employees, invited guests from the city, regular guests and suppliers were also present.

The ground-breaking ceremony for the hotel with 147 rooms, a restaurant with 180 seats, a bar and seven conference rooms for up to 250 people was in 1992. "We finally opened our hotel in 1994. Since then, we have been an integral part of this beautiful town and have welcomed many guests, many of whom have become regulars," says Andreas Martin, Director of the H+ Hotel Limes Thermen Aalen. These include a couple from Stuttgart who have spent well over 100 nights at the hotel over the years. They have now chosen their favorite room and their favorite table with a view of all the other tables in the restaurant. "They eat our Wiener Schnitzel at least once during every stay, it's the best thing ever," says Andreas Martin. On New Year's Eve, the woman from Stuttgart had a special surprise in store for the manager. "During my New Year's greeting to the guests, she suddenly got up on stage, took the Mirko from my hand and thanked our team for their years of hospitality," recalls Andreas Martin.

The employees also feel at home at the H+ Hotel Limes Thermen Aalen. Many have been part of the team for more than 15 years. Like Maria Söllner. She has worked in the restaurant's service department for 29 years. She is actually already retired, but she doesn't want to stop completely. "I would miss the family contact with my colleagues and I love the interaction with our guests. I've seen children grow up who now come with their children," she says. Over the years, the guests' wishes have become more specific. Some now value vegan and vegetarian dishes, others want a table with a socket for charging their cell phone or with a view over the region. "I love my job here at the H+ Hotel Limes Thermen Aalen, that has remained the same over the years," says Maria Söllner.
