Central, clean hotel , comfortable bed, decent linens. David in reception was great - welcoming, personable, smiley, fantastic spoken English. Roomy shower and great water pressure and temperature. Sadly the breakfast was a great disappointment and I wish I hadn’t wasted my money- hair in the cucumber, no knives, no spoons, broken plate left lying, broken coffee machine, dirty tables, no breakfast tea, tasteless cheap fruit yogurt, cold carton scrambled eggs disgusting (not fresh), no cutlery near the continental cheeses, rotten frozen fruit salad with stalks I and pips, no croissants, empty fruit tray, watery orange juice. For the price I paid I expected much more . My packed breakfast in the last day was inedible and I left it beside a homeless person- two tiny brick hard stale jam sandwiches , browning banana, and a chocolate bar despite saying I don’t eat chocolate, cold boiled egg, water. I ought to have asked for a refund if my breakfast charges as I was not able to find anything much to eat . Manager was initially very confrontational and defensive when I spoke to her about this - she thankfully calmed down or I would have also been complaining about her . Oh and no bedside table, no plug point at the desk, and no fridge in the room!

It was fine. Great staff. Room too small to move around in which would prevent from using again. I just need more leg room. I'm old so I'm not big on the techy stuff. I would like more staff at breakfast assisting customers. But it's a nice clean place.

Im Früstücksbereich wirkten die Mitarbeiterinnen stets überfordert. Mit finsterer Mine und langsam versuchten sie die Angebote nachzufüllen. Die Tische waren voll mit gebrauchte Geschirr, Tische wurden nicht gereinigt. Ansonsten tolles Hotel, alles sauber, zentral gelegen, gute Verkehrsanbindung.

The location is great and the room was clean and modern. While we appreciated the free breakfast, other than bread there wasn’t a lot we enjoyed eating. The toaster was broken while we were there. Loved the coffee maker. No refrigerator, safe, or kettle in the room which are amenities we have found in most other similarly priced hotels.

Die Lage ist top. Das Zimmer ist größtenteils sauber . Im Badezimmer war die Fußboden Leiste sehr verstaubt , aber ansonsten war alles sauber. Die Dame von der Reinigung war sehr nett. Ansonsten empfand ich die Kommunikation mit der Rezeption und den Mitarbeitern vom Frühstück etwas unterkühlt. Es wurde nie von selbst gegrüßt oder gelächelt. Die Tiefgarage ist super. Wir waren zum zweiten Mal dort.

Overall ok stay, good value for money. The rooms missed some basic stuff such as a kettle, a safe box but in general the room was spacious. The internet was fast and reliable. The location is super within walking distance to most attractions.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt im H2 Hotel gut gefallen, da die zentrale Lage des Hotels super für die Besichtigung von Budapest ist. Mit dem Zimmer und der Sauberkeit waren wir sehr zufrieden, lediglich die fehlende Möglichkeit, Dinge zu verstauen, hat uns etwas verwundert. Ein kleiner Kleiderschrank oder ein paar Schubladen wären in unseren Augen sinnvoll. Das Frühstück können wir leider nur mit befriedigend bewerten, da das Personal hier leider nicht ausreichend war, um der Anzahl an Gästen gerecht zu werden und die Qualität der Eierspeise war leider nicht erwartet. Alles in allem hat uns der Besuch im H2 Hotel jedoch gut gefallen und vor allem die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeitenden an der Rezeption ist uns positiv aufgefallen.

Breakfast was good. Location very good. Lobby nice. Bathroom and shower very good. "Superior" room means a nice balcony but ... No bedside shelf or locker. Nothing to place phone and stuff on - just an overhead netting bag. No safe. No tea/coffee making. No phone in room. No wardrobe. Nowhere to place second suitcase. Bedroom felt more like a hostel or student accommodation. PILLOWS - pillows are flat things, not supportive. We asked for extra pillows but it took three attempts to get them.

Overall a positive experience. Comfortable hotel in an excellent position. Quick checkin. Breakfast not a great experience, extremely busy despite going early, staff unable to cope. Everything empty and not replenished quick enough, no plates, glasses or cutlery at times.
