Es ist ein Standardhotel auf einem soliden Stand, aber auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Im Frühstücksraum war das Leder auf den Bänken z.B. schon abgetragen an den Sitzkanten.

Dear H Hotels We would like to fill in this complaint as we have had a very bad experience in your H+ Hotel in Hanover the 23rd of July 2023. We have booked our one night stay as part of our trip from Italy to our home in Denmark. The purpose of this trip was to get some relaxing time and enjoy a meal on your hotel, before we should continue our trip home. Booking.com reference: 3615770692 Reference (H Hotel): 42807749 and 42807225 No of guests: 6 persons 2 x Superior rooms Room no. 301 + 303 Comment #1: No loud barriers between rooms After check in we went to our rooms, and we found out that the rooms were apart, but with a connecting door to the rooms just next to. Next to room 303 there was a family with kids staying, and they were very loud. We could hear everything that was being said in the room next to. Basically we could not stay in the room, as we could hear the other guests talking and kids playing! The receptioninst asked if he should call the guests in room 304 and ask them to be quiet - but as I explained, it is not their fault - it is you as a hotel, that you have not considered loud barriers between rooms! Comment #2: High noise from the roof In both rooms there was a very loud noise from the roof - we concluded it must be the air condition or ventilations as some sort. Especially in room 303 the noise could be compared to staybing in a ships machine room! Is it normal that your employees are lying? After a few moments in the rooms, I went to the receptionist and told the reception (a male) that it was not acceptable for us to stay in these conditions. The receptionist told me that unfortunately the hotel was fully booked, hence it was not possible to chance rooms. I explained the situation in very detail, but it seemed like the person at the counter did not care at all. After going back to the room and checking availability in the hotel, I could ascertain that there were plenty of available rooms - I was able to book on both booking.com and your own website. After this surprising experience, I went to the counter again and told the receptioninst that you had plenty of rooms. Now your eomployee changed his story and told that there were no available rooms at the same type. After this experience, we were very disatisfied! How can you have employees who are lying to their guests - that is very untrustworthy! After this treatment, we considered to check out and find another hotel. But as we were exhausted after a long trip from Italy, we moved into room 301 as there were no neighbors next to, hence less noise. Personally, I am a consultant, travelling a lot (100+ stays in hotels per year) and I have never experienced that a receptionist is lying and taking feedback seriously. We cannot recommend this hotel for families at all - and espically not for people who need a one night stays during travel to relax. We are very dissapointed about the quality and lying experience.
